Mark 12:31-32

Mark 12:31-32 - 'And you shall love the LORD our God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' That is the first commandment. "And the second, like it, is this : 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

2012 Bangkok, Thailand Trip

Okie, I finally have the time and mood to write about the trip to Bangkok. Loads of ups and downs recently that had prevented me to work on this post.

Here are the 5 sisters I went with, kind of like I am just tagging along for their shopping spree. We scooted our way to Bangkok with the new Singapore budget airline.

Lepaking while waiting excitingly for the flight.

*Testing shot which appears to look good to me*

All of us on the first day

Overall look of the shop we had our dinner-cum-supper. Touch down quite late that night thanks to the super long queue at the custom, around clock 2300 plus when we had our dinner I think. Hungry and tiring after the flight, so just settle at this shop recommended by Yifang.

. This is the shop name, if you can read Thai and Chinese. (The Chinese read Singapore, if I am not mistaken?) Funny that we came all the way from Singapore to Thailand and eat in some local Singapore shop. But no regret, they serve yummy Thai food.

Lala with yummy sauce.

*Ohya now only I remember that I had missed out the tom yam soup. Guess I was too hungry stop and snap at that point of time*

The roadside stall that sell super sweet mangoes and the yummy mango rice which is one of the local delicacies here.

The hotel we stayed at for 3 nights. Quite a bargain; cheap, clean and quite strategically located.

Typical Bangkok street view

Okie, one of the amazing thing at Bangkok is this super geng cable network. I wonder how are they going to troubleshoot/identify the link when one of it down.

This is one of the market where you can buy a lot of cheap stuff. We have to squeeze all the way to reach the other side where the malls are located. Spent quite some time here since the girls tend to be sidetracked along the way.

Simple lunch at this shop after halfday shopping at Platinium Fashion Mall. This shop serves nice tomyam and  local milktea.
*Seriously don't know what this shop name is*

The menu, food at here is cheap!

Thailand milktea

Aha, the tomyam soup. A must try for tomyam lover.

The girls checking on their haul of the day

The student bully the teacher

Okie Xiang Chen joined us on the second night and yes we decided to dine at the same place cause of the irresistible food served there.

Mangoes dessert after dinner

Decided to be a little bit more adventurous on the third day, took train to Chatuchak.

The train pass used here.

The busyness of Chatuchak

Shop selling loads of doll. Decided to come back later to get some as souvenir, and you know what? Didn't really get to find my way back here. Morale of the story, just buy what you want to buy at Chatuchak when you sees it. You might never find your way back to the same shop.

The floor plan of the market, its so huge that you can shop whole day and perhaps not cover all the area! All the small little boxes are the individual shops. Now you understand how I failed to find back the same shop?

Yummy-licious BBQ pork

Telur burung mata lembu

Yummy chicken kueh tiow at Chatuchak, anonymous shop again.

Dinner at this shop and finally a shop with names. Here it is, Ban Khun Mae Thai Cuisine located somewhere around at Siam Square area.

Ohya, don't really know that mango is popular at Thailand until this trip.

Live music performance. She plays for the whole time while we are there!

This picture taken specially for Steve, showing all those who does not respect aeroplane.
*We should wear jeans and shoes to show our respect to the aeroplane*

PS : Super short post for a 4D3N trip since you know, this time is a shopping trip >.<
